Every team plays 4 matches to compete in the group stage and the quarter-finals. Winning teams proceed to the semi-final and final matches.
All competitive matches are officiated by professional referees and are played with the NEXT football and player trackers. Compensatory matches for eliminated teams may be played without them.

How do I join the NEXT football tournament?
To join a NEXT football tournament, you must sign up and pay the entry fee for your team. View more info.
How long is the tournament?
Each NEXT football tournament is played in a single day. Teams play their group stage matches in the morning, and their knockout matches in the afternoon.
Can I reschedule a match?
We do not allow teams to reschedule matches. In special cases, you may contact us to initiate a request to reschedule.
Can I add new players to my team during the tournament?
Yes, you may add new players during the tournament to fill open slots in your team. Players who have already joined the tournament with another team are restricted from joining a second time.
Can I remove a player from my team during the tournament?
Yes, you can remove a player from your team but only with their approval. When you remove them from their team slot, they will receive an invite to leave the team.
Do you refund the entry fee to leaving players?
The entry fee is paid for a team slot, and we do not make partial refunds to individual players. Players must find an arrangement with their teammates before accepting the invite to leave the team.
Do you refund the entry fee to leaving teams?
If you cancel your team entry before the closing date for sign ups, we refund 100% of the amount. We do not make refunds for cancellations after the closing date.
How do I collect my cash reward?
Cash rewards will be paid to the captain or to a player designated by the team. We will get in touch within 7 days of the tournament to make the transfer.
How do I collect my career rewards?
Career rewards will be available on our website very soon. Eligible players can add their rewards to the shopping cart and arrange delivery to their homes.
Can I appeal a suspension?
Referee decisions are final and cannot be appealed after a game. If you feel that you have been treated unfairly, contact us here and we will treat the matter with utmost urgency.
Will I be compensated for injuries?
We know that football can be a tough sport and we're committed to helping our players find the support that they need to recover from sports injuries. However, we cannot compensate you for injuries.
